Victoria House Care Home Ltd is situated on Poulton-le-Fylde only five miles from the Fylde Coast. The house is in the heart of the town centre and all amenities. The Railway Station is two minutes away, all local buses, shops, post office, supermarkets and other facilities are on the doorstep. Formerly a Doctor’s surgery, the house has been carefully extended and converted by the owner to provide ten single and two double rooms.

Victoria House is registered with the Commission for Quality Care inspection as a Retirement Home and is family owned and operated with the assistance of key staff, namely a Head of Care who is responsible for the day-to-day running of the Retirement Home, in conjunction with the owner, whose responsibilities take in the well-being and general care of the residents.

The staff are well experienced to deal with medical matters arising from the Doctor’s instructions. They are able to deal with all drug administration and any other preparations which may be required. In addition, they relay any dietary requirements to the kitchen, including those arising from Diabetic conditions.

A priority at Victoria House is the commitment and training of all staff. All staff are expected to achieve NVQ levels 2 and 3.

There is a daily activity programme provided for all our clients to participate in, if they so wish. When possible, the activities should take place in the afternoon and should vary from day to day. The activity is completed on a daily basis to enable all staff provide a variety of activities.
